According to "The Agreement of Worldwide Products Warranty Support" signed between Chongqing Cummins Engine Co., Ltd. and Cummins (China) investment Co., Ltd. and "The Agreement of Distribution & Aftermarket Cooperatlon" signed in 2004, Cummins wordwide service networks may provide warranty service support to all exported products (including the engines installed in OEM equipment)of Chongqing Cummins. Now, the related matters are announced as following.

This Warranty applies to new Engines sold by Cummins and delivered to the first user on or after April 1, 1999, that are used in Industrial (Off-Highway) applications anywhere in the world where Cummins approved service is available, except the United States and Canada. Different Warranty Coverage is provided forEngines used in marine, generator drive and certain defense applications.

The generator sets manufactured by DIY POWER SYSTEM CO., LTD.(Short call DIYPOWER). And sold to the end users through the authorized distributors by DIYPOWER Specialized service and genuine spare parts are provided by After sales Service Department of DIYPOWER and authorized after sales service centers by DIYPOWER. Exempt Responsibilities DIYPOWER only take the responsibilities of the quality problems of the diesel generating sets in themselves manufactured and sold by DIYPOWER, but not of the other loss caused by malfunctions in operation including production stagnation, chained equipment damage and so on.

Perkins at its sole discretion will, by repair or replacement, remedy any failure of an engine which is due to a defect in the workmanship or materials. Perkins will, accept responsibility for reasonable travel, labour and material costs that are applied when effecting such remedy. All warrantable repairs must be carried out by an authorised Perkins outlet using trained technicans and genuine Perkins replacement parts.
Engine(s) or components supplied as replacements under warranty will assume the identity of the engine or part being replaced at the time of original failure and therefore will assume any residual warranty term. Any engine or component replaced shall be disposed of in accordance with directions given by Perkins or in accordance with any applicable local laws.
